What Lux is
Lux is a math teacher for kids in elementary school. A camera looks down at the desk, so Lux sees the real worksheet. It talks each problem through with your kid out loud, asks the next good question, and checks each step. Your kid works out every answer, and you get a short note after every session.
Who makes it
Lux is built by Leo, a dad who comes from a family of teachers. It started with his daughter’s 4th-grade math homework, and with how good teachers guide a kid one question at a time.
How it is sold
Lux is a digital service, sold as a recurring monthly subscription for families. It is $59 a month per kid for the first 100 kids, locked in for as long as the subscription stays active, and $79 a month after that. Every month includes 20 hours of live help. Payments are processed by Stripe. Billing, cancellation and refunds are in our terms.
